Terms and Conditions - STUDENTS

COURSE ATTENDANCE:
One Day courses - Students must attend the entire day of the booked course.
Two Day courses - Students must attend both days of the booked course. Students cannot do Day 2 on another course or on a different day for ANY reason. Those who do not attend Day 2 will not be transferred or refunded.

If you have any condition that might interfere with you fully participating in any courses, please contact the office prior to enrolling. Such conditions include: pregnancy, high blood pressure, dermatitis, epilepsy, contagious conditions, diabetes and asthma. Classes are conducted with even numbers so students can work in pairs. Failure to fully participate disrupts the class and is unfair on other students.
Once enrolled, if you are unable to attend, your course fee will not be refunded or transferred to another course.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE STUDENT
* Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances if a student cancels their enrolment at any time.
More than 28 days from course commencement if full payment is made
• A full refund is available if the College is advised of a cancellation more than 28 days prior to the course commencement date. Please note: If you paid by Paypal, your refund will have 4% deducted to cover the charges made by Paypal

Less than 28 days from course commencement if full payment is made
• Cancellations inside 28 days from course commencement are subject to full payment to cover fixed cost commitments. Course fees will not be refunded or transferred to another course in these circumstances.
• The College cannot accept responsibility for applicants’ changes to work commitments, illness, childcare provision or personal circumstances within this 28 day period and will not transfer or refund fees.

Couples must attend together and are accepted as one enrolment. Therefore, both persons must attend together. If, for any reason, one of the partners cannot attend then the couple will have to withdraw completely and refunds and transfer terms apply as above.

Venue- All courses that are listed with dates on this website are held at our Training School at The Moulsham Mill in Chelmsford unless otherwise stated. If there are less than 5 students enrolled on a course that is due to be held at The Moulsham Mill venue, then the venue may be changed to the Radley Green Training Room, CM4 0LU, (10mins Chelmsford). If this is the case, then students will be notified within 2 weeks of the course date, giving you plenty of time to organise your travel arrangements.
- In the rare instance that your course has to be cancelled or re-scheduled, where a refund is due to a participant, a full refund cheque will be sent within seven days.
- Deposits must be paid on enrolment by paypal/card to hold Training at Home bookings. Until deposits are received, the

WITHDRAWAL OF A STUDENT
A student may be withdrawn from the course by the Course Principal if the student's conduct is inappropriate /disruptive or if he/she has not declared that he/she is a therapy trainer on the enrolment form. He/she will have no claim to a reimbursement of the course fee or to participating in a course at another time.

GENERAL
Enrolments can not be confirmed nor reserved without deposits/full payments.
- Male students wishing to attend any introductory courses except the Anatomy course will be asked to bring a partner to work on during the day.
- Students will be expected to respect each others modesty at all times with correct towel draping as the Aromatic Swedish/Sports Massage courses requires the student being massaged to remove all clothing except underwear. Once on the couch students are covered with towels and only the part being massaged will be uncovered.
- Unfortunately, two students and have recently enrolled on courses but have done so under the pretence that they want to learn, yet I have found that they actually have intended use my knowledge to teach all along and have taken advantage of my advice and help. If I find that my integrity is challenged by unethical students, I will of course take the necessary action

THERAPY TUTORS
Andrea always welcomes fellow tutors on her courses. However, if tutors fail to declare their staus on the enrolment form, they will be denied access to the course. It is expected that Professional Ethics are adhered to and that no A Bond Therapies Training course methods/material will be used/ duplicated and the copyrights to her courses are upheld.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
One Day courses- Your tutor will evaluate your professionalism, attitude and competence throughout the day. Provided the tutor is satisfied that you are able to perform the massage safely and to the accepted standard, you will be issued the course Certificate on the day. In the event that you do not attain the required standard, you will be invited to return at a later date to demonstrate your massage techniques after practicing at home. You will then need to provide a ‘partner’ to demonstrate on this occasion. If the tutor is satisfied that sufficient improvement has been made, you will be issued with your Certificate.
