Diploma in Indian Head Massage course
Indian Head Massage is a very therapeutic massage of the shoulders, neck, scalp and face for the relief of muscular tension, stress, headaches and many other symptoms. The receiver of the massage is seated on a chair. A Certificated Professional course (Previous experience is not necessary) This one day course is for ideal for beginners or Therapists who want to be able to perform a Professional Indian Head Massage on clients. A DVD of the complete sequence with additional massage movements is available to purchase on the day for only £10.00. Why is this course better than any other? You are given many options with this course - Andrea shows you how to use on-site chairs for the treatment as well as a standard chair and you can use aromatic oils or work over the clothing without oils! This course is so adaptable! 1. It is a 'hands on' so students have plenty of time to grasp and practice the techniques. 2. Unlike other one day courses, here you will learn how to do a really thorough treatment using oils aswell as being shown how you can adapt the treatment by working over the top of clothing without oils if you prefer. 3. Other one day courses usually teach you how to do a repeated brief set of movements over clothes which limits what you can offer your clients. This course is more flexible. 4. Unlike most one day courses, Embody/CTHA, Babtac and IPTI credit our course as a Post Graduate Qualification; (can be added to your insurance policy as a new qualification). Those with no massage experience can join and gain insurance through the Guild of Holistic or Beauty Therapists and start working immediately. Embody/CTHA, Babtac and IPTI credit the course as a Post Graduate Qualification; (can be added to your insurance policy as a new qualification provided you already hold a body massage certificate). If you already have insurance, check with your insurance provider that you can add this Diploma to your policy. You can decide on whether to join one of these associations and get insurance or to attain insurance only. If you only intend to practice on friends and family, you do not need to join a professional body.
