This is a fabulous one day dual purpose course for those holding a Body Massage Certificate, Bodyworkers, Beauty Therapists and therapists interested in Advanced courses for CPD or self improvement. Existing Therapists can also add this routine to their existing portfolio and use the techniques on clients. The course is 'hands on' with no stressful tests!
You can offer your clients two different types of treatment:
1) You can use techniques on the muscles and soft tissues of the head, face, neck and upper trapezius for the relief of Headaches, Fibromyalgia, TMJ, Sinus problems, Stress, Anxiety and musculoskeletal conditions
2) The treatment can also be modified so that it can be performed as a relaxing, rejuvenating and toning facial massage.
You will spend the majority of the day working on fellow students using Trigger Points, Remedial Massage, relaxing massage and Acupressure techniques, focusing on releasing tension in tendons and muscles and easing painful symptoms.
The techniques are used with the client supine on the treatment couch and aromatic massage oils are used. Your clients do not need to fully undress; only upper clothing needs to be removed (underwear can remain).
The CThA (Embody have approved this as an Advanced Training Course for CPD and awarded it with 5 CPD points). Members of the CTha will receive the Certificate in Remedial and Aromatic Massage of the Face, Head and Neck.
The Guild of Holistic/Professional Beauty Therapists have accredited this course, awarding 14 CPD points. (Students must already hold either our Aromatic Swedish Massage Certificate or other recognised Certificate). Guild members' will receive the Certificate in Advanced Aromatic Massage of the Face, Head and Neck.
We are delighted that BABTAC and IPTI have approved this course provided members already hold an Anatomy and Massage certificate.
FHT have accredited this course but have stated that students must hold an FHT recognised body massage qualification prior to enrolling.
